Well, he’s done it again.  PZ makes a point by burying a Koran and a Bible.  Here is a little of what he had to say.

I feel no differently about the holy books of the world’s religions than I do about those ghastly relics, so why do I keep copies of the Bible and the Koran in my house? Given the hate the defense of their absurdity encourages, I don’t want them. I don’t need them. I must reject them.

I thought of doing my own little protest but I guess I either have a little more sense or smaller stones.  What do you think about PZ burying a couple of books?

It’s a special version of “Hot N Cold” by Katy Perry and Elmo.  Well it appears that the morality police have spooked the producers of the show and they have yanked the song from the show.  So what do you think?  Is this too much for Sesame Street?  I wonder…. why is there no problem that Elmo gets to run around with no clothes?

A few days ago I was able to see Rush in concert.  Recently, I did a post about their song “Faithless“.  Well they also have a new song called BU2B (Brought up to believe).  My favorite line is, “While our loving Watchmaker Loves us all to death.”  So what do you think?  are they completely godless?  Here are the lyrics.

My Uncle D was once a Jehovah’s Witness but he left over forty years ago. He was disfellowshipped of course and was shunned by the majority of our family (who are all still JWs). All these years he’s been treated as a non-person, not worthy of love, not worthy of their time.

He was a very, very lonely man, deeply wounded by the emotional scars that a lifetime of shunning creates. He was shut out by his only brother and his youngest sister. He was kept away from nieces and nephews – and in total three more generations of family.

How very sad.  Then the family got stupid….

I flew in to meet my family on Friday afternoon and was greeted with the disturbing news that my mother and my Uncle J had (that day) gone to Uncle D’s house and had filled my mom’s van with his possessions.

 Italian authorities seized euro23 million ($30 million) from a Vatican bank account Tuesday and said they have begun investigating top officials of the Vatican bank in connection with a money-laundering probe.

The Vatican said it was “perplexed and surprised” by the investigation.

Criminals are often surprised by investigations.  Perplexed – not a surprise many catholics still seem to think the sun goes around the earth. 

The investigation is not the first trouble for the bank — formally known as the Institute for Works of Religion. In the 1980s, it was involved in a major scandal that resulted in a banker, dubbed “God’s Banker” because of his close ties to the Vatican, being found hanging from Blackfriars Bridge in London.

And the church claims that they have no money!

Eddie Long has been accused of being a very bad boy.

Jamal Parris, 23, alleged in a suit filed today that Bishop Eddie Longused his private plane to fly him around the world — from Los Angeles to Trinidad to New York — and sexually abused him along the way. Parris alleges in the documents, obtained by ABC News, that the bishop would request he be nude while in his presence and would request “sexual massages” and “oral sodomy” when they traveled.

Parris joins two other young men, Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg, who also say the bishop recruited them into the youth ministry and then forced sex upon them.

It appears that the accusers have some pictures.

She shamed our family.

NO douchebag – you have now shamed your family.  Can I lend you a piece of rope?  I know it will come as no surprise – he was not sorry about it.

It wasn’t my fault, and I haven’t done anything wrong.

I don’t say that I wish I hadn’t killed her, but I say I wish she hadn’t done that.

That’s right – blame the victim.

if I’m in the same situation now after this experience and she does the same thing, I would kill her again.

Oh, he was detained for six days.
