2012 Europe Vacation Overview

Posted by Phil Ferguson on June 24th, 2012 – 3 Comments – Posted in Personal Stories

As I mentioned yesterday, I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Europe.

My first thought was to do one post for each day of travel but I fear that would bore you.  Instead I am going to do one post for each area we visited.  Here is the basic outline I will use to create blog posts.  I will first have to go through about 5,000 photos…. yikes.  I hope there are at least a few good ones.

Here is the plan for posts…..

Flight out / Roma (Rome)

Sorrento / Amalfi Coast / Capri

Firenze (Florence) / Piza / Siena / San Gimignano

Geneva

Paris

London

Leeds / Harrogate / Manchester / Return Flight

I hope you enjoy!

Any tips for places to eat in Paris?

No. ;) I was not a big fan of French food and had a problem with one of my meals. However, that is for the Paris post. If you give me a call I can make some good suggestions of what you should see. Enjoy your trip.

Yes. Go to Place de Clichey. Right across the major road from the Hostel there is a restaurant. Something with fire in the name. They serve raw steak on top of a hot granite slab that actually cooks the meat right there on your plate, you cut off bits and fry them up, its really pretty awesome.

I was there in 2003, hope its still there.
