@ Charles- that is exactly the position of the FFRF. I have heard Annie Laurie Gaylor and Dan Barker say that on their radio show/podcast. You’ll also notice that they only place signs in statehouses, etc. that have already placed religious items on display on/in public property.
I think FFRF would be happy not to have to bother with these signs.

Here’s a novel idea. No anti-religious statements on state property, AND no religious statements on state property. None. Either way. The halls of government are no place for religious (or anti-religious) statements.

Well, the bigger and broader story is that the police did their job, protected the display and it still stands proud as a sign of diversity of opinions. Good job by most involved.

If you’re as informed a voter as you seem to be, I’m betting that “Do Not Vote For” list of yours is a pretty long list, and getting longer by the day–perhaps you’d save lots of time if you kept a “Do Vote For” list instead.

What’s really disturbing is the fact that the number of people like this idiot Kelly seem to multiplying exponentially–as time goes by, more & more are coming out of the woodwork–they are everywhere!

The whole ‘dumbing down of America” plan that was launched in the late 60′s has apparently done it’s job all too well because what we are seeing are the results of that plan. Those children of the 70′s, 80′s & 90′s are now the adults of today–behold the products of our public education system!
