D.L. Huhgley (actor) and Kim Campbell (Former Prime Minister of Canada) try to explain facts to Mr. Kingston. Then D.L. Huhgley goes off the rails and says we come from gOd not a monkey – DOH!

One of the things the reality based community needs to remember is whenever the other side brings up the old argument of “Well, back in 1975 everybody thought the world was going to get colder”. We need to hammer the facts back at them. The facts are that a very few scientists published a handfull of articles in POPULAR magazines, and said that with the increasing CO2 in the atmosphere, the world could go either hotter or colder. These were NOT peer-reviewed articles, and should not be given the same weight as further research has revealed. After all, it was 36 years ago – we’ve learned a little since then.
I made it half way through this and couldn’t watch any more. Somebody should have been around to roast this guy to a crisp. On the “cooling in the 70′s myth”, this is denier canard (read lie) #8:
“around 1970 there were 6 times as many scientists predicting a warming rather than a cooling planet.”
