Mithra Is The Reason For The Season In Florida

Those wacky atheists of Florida are fighting the war on christmas. They are using these signs to educate the world.
Boyd Pridmore, 79, created a yard sign five years ago, which he now distributes to people and churches across the country.
It reads, “Jesus is the reason for the season. Merry Christmas.”
“It’s a message that I think the country needs to hear,” said Pridmore.
Well isn’t that nice. I could have missed the whole jesus thing if it wern’t for a yard sign. Now the Atheists Of Florida have their own sign.
“Our purpose is to say ‘Look. There are a lot of world views out there’,” said EllenBeth Wachs, Atheists of Florida spokesperson. “Please just acknowledge that.”
Their signs read, “Mithra is the reason for the season. Happy Winter Solstice”
“Mithra was a god. He’s the conqueror of the sun,” explained Wachs. “Mithra came about 1,000 years B.C.E., which is a long time before the Jesus character. Mithra was born on December 25th to the virgin Anahita.”

Axial tilt wins! It is the reason for all of the season all around the world and has been since the beginning. We have two Christmas trees and a yule log. We also celebrate Solstice – Mithra will be a good Solstice night story this year.
Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus. Christianity stole the concept like they did everything else. So, did Santa Claus and Jesus ever meet? So, which is it? Santa Claus or Jesus. They have one thing in common – neither exist and never did.
