During a private fundraiser earlier this year, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told a small group of wealthy contributors what he truly thinks of all the voters who support President Barack Obama.
The first video he talks about the 47 % that don’t pay taxes.
Note: The 47% that don’t pay federal income tax still pay sales Tax, State tax, Social Security Tax (FICA) and a long list of other taxes. I estimate that the average person that does not pay federal income tax pays at least 30.5% of their income in taxes (see the full calculation here). Way more than Romney and his 13 – 15%.
Note 2: The 47% includes: Seniors on social security, unemployed, college kids, high school kids, single moms and lots of other people working really hard to make ends meet.
What does romney do? He takes a big harry crap on them! They are scum!
“[M]y job is is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”
He says that it is their fault and it is not his job to worry about them. Listen….
There are several more video. Go to Mother Jones to see the rest.
So, what do you think? Does Romney care about you? Does he care about women, minorities or atheists?

That 47% figure also includes veterans on disability. I am fairly outraged.
As far as I know, a lot of Americans are infants, toddlers, little kids, tweens, etc. Are they included in the 47% as well? If not, they should be because they are total freeloaders and generally have a strong feeling of entitlement to thinks like milk and clothing and shelter and stuff.
So true. It would only include them if they had earned income. So, by republican logic if a 15 year old mows lawns reports his income but it is so low that no federal taxes are do then…he is a leach on society.
Hell no he’s not fucked. The “real christians” in this country have had to ignore how much it bothers them that Mitt is of “one of them there types of religions”, aka “dif-earnt” than theirs. If the Mitt twits are able to overlook that, then another stupid comment that’s going to make most of his supporters say yeehaa anyway, will not fuck him. All this bad press will turn into good press for him. Actual figures of who pays what income taxes will be released from great sources, nobodies head will turn, nobodies minds will change.
Sadly Matt, I think you are right. And these rich republicans think anybody who is not obscenely wealthy are all lazy, worthless scum who do nothing but leach of the rest of society. I like how he condemns people for thinking they have a right to healthcare and food, Really, food? Somehow I doubt that nearly half of the American population are on food stamps or Medicaid.
Here is another entitlement, the conservatives seem to think they are entitled to force their Christian faith and values on all the citizens of this country. There is an entitlement “program” we certainly need to “defund”.
I am not in the least bit surprised by this newest piece of verbal diarrhea from this jackass Romney. This guy is not fit to be president of this country; he has no redeeming features or qualities.
