    So sorry to hear it. I don’t know what else to say, it’s hard sometimes to not be able to say, “at least he’s in a better place.” I think the closest atheists can come in a situation like one you had to go through is, at least he’s not suffering anymore. It sounds like he had it pretty rough at the end there.

    I wish you and your family all the best. I’m sure it’s been very rough, but you’ll get through it.

    I haven’t said much because we’ve only met in person the once and I have no other words. What you’ve been through with this is heart-wrenching, and I’ve been keeping you in my thoughts.
