Neil Patrick Harris Mocking christianity

christians are over reacting – it may be all they have.  They are claiming that a new TV ad for the Super Bowl has  Neil Patrick Harris Mocking christianity.

Neil Patrick Harris Mocking christianity

Here is what WND had to say…

But CBS, the television network airing the big game this year, is now using an outspoken homosexual actor to mimic Tim Tebow’s style of trumpeting messages in eyeblack on his face.

During Sunday’s matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens, the network broadcast several spots promoting the network’s upcoming Super Bowl coverage in New Orleans.

More than one featured Neil Patrick Harris, star of “How I Met Your Mother,” wearing eyeblack with the date of Feb. 3, 2013 inscribed, reminding viewers that Super Bowl XLVII would be on CBS on that date.

How hateful… Wait what…. an ad to promote a game?

Quick someone find a cool bible quote from one of the 66 books that is chapter 20 and verse 13!

One football fan who watched the CBS promo Sunday made the connection between Harris and Tebow, saying, “They’re pushing a gay agenda by using him, and they’re mocking Christians at the same time.”

DUH!  they are doing something that nut bag Tebow made famous.  Get over it!

Pushing the gay agenda – please.  This is Football!  Big strong men in tight pants pushing and shoving.  They grab each other and get thrown to the ground.  The Quarter back slowly reaches between another mans legs and grabs a ball.  What could possible be gay about that.

Hey!  They have a poll ! Lookie….15 choices!  Have fun!  You have to log in to vote on their site.  So, tell us your vote here!

IS CBS MOCKING TIM TEBOW AND/OR CHRISTIANS IN ITS SUPER BOWL ADS?

LOL. I vote number 15, Other. I don’t know why and it really doesn’t matter. Maybe I’ll care if it comes up at a cocktail party or in a trivia game…

As Dawkins says we should be mocking… They evidence disgust and repulsion towards secularist causes so we laugh, mock, and jeer at theirs, well, and I am often a bit nauseated. Politely. At least we don’t kill people for Secularism.

  2. Lori says:

Ok, that was the first time I’ve plowed through comments on WND. The nonsense those people spew is incredible. Narcissism at it’s worst.

  3. misty says:

Seriously Christains get a life already, go talk about it over your shellfish!! Go Neil Patrick Harris, .. even if he was Mocking, its not like they don’t deserve it. After all, look at all their mocking, lies, power trips, hypocritee etc… They just need to prey about it I guess, lmao

  4. linda says:

Tebow deserves all the heckling he can get. I hope it is mocking him. Tebow accually thinks he has a god on his team.

  5. Seth says:

If they were trying to mimic Tebow then Neil would have to look more slack-jawed and be crying. Also, the printing on Neil’s face doesnt look like a 2 year old did it. Definitely not comparable.

  6. Mary says:

    What you all said!

  7. Marc Mielke says:

Typical Christians — do something once and they think they own it. Like crucifixion – that used to be just the Roman way to take out the garbage. Now you can’t hardly nail someone to a cross without it becoming some religious thing.

  8. Savonarola says:

Even before Tebow, some eyeblack strips had the producer’s brand name (e.g., Riddell) printed in white across them. Does that mean that Tebow is mocking business?

  9. Terry Driver says:

    Good for CBS

  10. Sunshine Bob says:

What BS. If Christians truly have faith, things like this shouldn’t bother them. I guess when you believe in an invisible man, you’ll believe in invisible threats too.

  11. Fifth Dentist says:

    I vote phony persecution.
I wish every fundie could have three minutes of actual persecution … say being in a ring with a pissed off lion (but not actually being harmed physically). Just enough persecution to make them violently shit themselves.
After that most of them would chill out, STFU and realize that other people disagreeing with them is NOT, in fact, persecution.

  12. Barb Schaarschmidt says:

There’s no question in my mind that this is not mocking Christianity. Besides the fact that there’s no reason to think it would be, CBS has more blatant Christian nonsense (have you watched Survivor in the past few years?) than any other network I’ve seen.
