Pastor Tip Crisis!Posted by Phil Ferguson on February 1st, 2013 – 1 Comment – Posted in Uncategorized
Well there is an update from the Friendly Atheist and it is not pretty.
The story seems a little muddled but here is what I understand. The pastor heard that their receipt was on the internet and took action to correct the situation. Let’s see if you can guess what the pastor did? (what would jesus do?)
a) Came back to the restaurant and gave a heartfelt apology to the server!
b) Returned and gave the server a tip
c) Called the restaurant and started demanding the people be fired!
If you guessed “c” you win!
It appears the server (and maybe others) have been fired.
Now, that she has cost people her job, she has come forward to say that she is very, very sorry that she go CAUGHT! Read this sad commentary….
JANUARY 31–The St. Louis pastor responsible for the credit card receipt heard ‘round the Internet termed her snide scribblings a “lapse in my character and judgment,” adding that the Applebee’s employee who posted the receipt online was fired yesterday after she lodged a complaint with restaurant managers.
So if it is a lapse in her judgement why is she so happy to tell us the server was fired?
She did not just ask for the server to be fired, it looks like she followed up to be sure!
In a follow-up conversation with an Applebee’s manager, Bell said she was told that the waitress was immediately terminated.
So, now I don’t mind telling you that Alois Bell works in a church of 15 people in St. Louis and is a fine example of Christian love! Ms. Bell thanks for reminding us that religion makes you moral!
