Many years a go I worked in fast food (the place had two yellow arches) but I never worked for tips.  If you work in a nice place and the customers are fair – you can do OK but if the tips don’t come…See image below.

He (or she) crossed out the tip and left $0.00 for the service!

According to the US Department of Labor the current minimum wage for a “tipped” employee is $2.13 an hour.  If you made only that for an entire year it would be an annual income of $4,400.  Not much to live on.

The other thing that bothers me is that he does not pay god – he donates money to a church.  I assume it is his own church – the one that gave him all of the money in the first place.

Additionally, many pastors create or have input into their budget and wages.  Many churches grant the pastor an ex officio member status on the board.  They may not actually be able to vote for their pay raise but, they sit in the meeting and watch as everyone else casts there vote.  They can push for more money or a bigger (free) house etc….

This is the person that then gives a server $0.00 for real work.  What we have here is a person that gets paid to do nothing paying nothing to someone who does work.  Religion has reality turned upside down.  An this pastor thinks it is OK to pay $0.00.

I was thinking the pastor should remember this line in the bible…. (yes there is some good stuff in the bible)

Matthew 25: 35-40 “‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ “

See that pastor!  jesus is very pissed at you!  If he actually existed, he would be pissed.   If he is going to pretend that jesus is real so will I.  Well, at least lone enough to point out that this pastor is a TOOL!
